Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work onsite at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. You will provide in-person tax preparation, advice, and software support, while building a local client base and long-term relationships in your community.

The role emphasizes customer-focused service, tax expertise, and community engagement, with a non-exempt, onsite requirement and opportunities to grow a local presence and marketing support from TurboTax.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and deep knowledge of tax law preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday–Saturday, for at least 20 hours/week; hours may scale up during peak periods.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert per Intuit policies.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador: represent TurboTax locally, engage with prospects, and lead local marketing efforts.
• Provide Tax Expertise: give hands-on tax advice, complete preparation services for various tax situations, and perform tax planning.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience: create exceptional client experiences, build trust for long-term relationships, and use Intuit tools to assist clients.
