Job summary

Intuit Careers is seeking dedicated TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax advice and full preparation services, while also building a local client base and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

You will act as a trusted advisor, helping clients with a range of tax scenarios, from simple W-2 filings to complex business matters, and you will participate in community engagement

Qualifications

• EA/CPA or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Must hold an active PTIN to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 returns per season using professional tax software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, typically 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, at least 20 hours weekly.
• Must complete required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and may be used for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online TurboTax presence and content creation.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling personal and business tax situations and planning.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador to grow the local TurboTax client base with outreach and partnerships.
• Connect clients to Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning for year-round support.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience with professionalism and empathy across in-person and virtual interactions.
