Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking dedicated TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States.

You will provide hands-on tax preparation, tax advice, and software support to customers in person, helping them maximize refunds and plan for future tax needs. You’ll engage with the local community, attract new clients, and build lasting relationships while leveraging marketing support and tools to grow your client base.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and deep tax-law knowledge.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 returns using professional tax software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must work onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for at least 20 hours/week.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert per Intuit policy.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.
• Must wear TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, including complex scenarios.
• Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and plan for the future.
• Deliver accurate tax solutions using government resources, professional tools, and team knowledge in clear everyday language.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador, expanding TurboTax visibility and client base locally.
