Job summary

Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as TurboTax Local Service Experts in Bloomington, Minnesota. You will work on-site at a TurboTax location, serving in-person and virtual customers with tax expertise and community engagement.

As a Local Service Expert, you provide hands-on tax preparation, connect clients to specialists, and help grow the local TurboTax client base through outreach and events.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA or practicing attorney with tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office 20 hrs/week 8:00–17:00 local time, Monday–Friday.
• Willingness to complete required training and wear Intuit uniforms.
• Interest in building a local social and online TurboTax presence.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, including complex scenarios.
• Grow the local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Collaborate with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience and end-to-end support for clients.
• Be the local face of TurboTax in the community and online.
