Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to join on-site teams at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States, delivering hands-on tax prep, tax advice, and customer service in a community-focused setting.

This non-exempt, on-site role emphasizes building relationships, attracting new clients, and leveraging marketing support to grow your local TurboTax presence while delivering accurate tax solutions.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with tax preparation experience.
• PTIN active to file taxes.
• Must have or obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
• Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment

Responsibilities

• Represent TurboTax locally as a public face in the community.
• Engage with new prospects, nurture leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients through proactive outreach.
• Lead local marketing initiatives with TurboTax support.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services.
• Facilitate tax reviews and planning advice.
• Use government resources and professional tools to deliver accurate tax solutions.
