• Knowledge of tax administration, auditing, collections, and enforcement principles.
• Strong management, analytical, and interpersonal skills with complex statistical knowledge.

The Tax Division Chief directs staff and operations within the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services, overseeing approximately 125 positions across multiple units including Processing and Mail Services, Financial Services, Registration, Contact Center, and Website Maintenance. This hybrid role manages all division activities, evaluates and organizes staff training, and ensures the smooth processing of tax revenues that fund state expenditures. The position requires strong leadership to guide processes and staff while seeking innovative approaches to accomplish critical tasks efficiently.
