Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a Tax Director for a well established regional CPA firm in the Bremerton area. You will lead technical reviews, mentor staff, manage client engagements, and coordinate with tax authorities. Travel to client sites and meetings may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in accounting required; Master’s in taxation preferred.
• CPA license required with AICPA membership in good standing.
• Minimum 7–10 years in public accounting tax; supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical tax review and approval of all tax returns and examinations.
• Leads client meetings and tax planning for larger clients.
• Manages staff, delegates work, and ensures timely, within-budget delivery.
• Represents clients before taxing authorities when required.
• Develops staff through recruiting, training, and performance evaluations.
• Keeps billing and collections accurate and timely.
