Job Juncture in Bremerton, WA seeks a Tax Director for a well-established regional CPA firm. You will lead technical review of tax returns, supervise staff, and manage client service and tax planning for diverse SEC and closely held clients.

Expect strong opportunities for leadership, bonuses, and a fast track to Partnership. Responsibilities include representing clients before tax authorities, mentoring staff, and ensuring timely, accurate billing.

Formación

• Seven to ten years experience in public accounting with advancing tax complexity.
• At least two years representing clients before taxing authorities.
• Minimum one year supervising and directing tax preparers.
• CPA license required; AICPA membership in good standing preferred.
• Mandatory continuing education (≥40 hours/year).

Responsabilidades

• Perform technical tax review and approval of complex returns.
• Serve as SME in discipline or industry.
• Lead client service to ensure timely completion within budget.
• Manage staff workload and delegate tasks.
• Participate in client meetings and tax planning.
• Represent clients before taxing authorities as needed.
• Mentor and develop staff; participate in recruitment.
• Ensure accurate billing and collections.
• Stay updated on tax developments.
• Travel to client offices occasionally.
