You will handle SEC and closely held clients across diverse industries and have a fast track to Partnership. The Tax Director will oversee technical reviews, mentoring, and client service, while staying current on tax developments.

Qualifications

• Seven to ten years of experience in public accounting with increasing tax complexity.
• Experience representing clients before taxing authorities.
• Minimum one year of supervising tax staff.
• CPA license required; AICPA membership preferred.
• Forty hours of continuing education annually.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical review and approval of complex tax returns.
• Serve as subject matter expert for tax disciplines.
• Oversee client service and ensure timely deliverables within budget.
• Mentor and develop senior staff and managers.
• Represent clients before tax authorities as needed.
• Stay informed on tax developments impacting clients.
• Participate in firm practice development and referrals.
• Occasional travel to client sites and meetings.
