Job summary

Acloché LLC, a well-established regional CPA firm in Los Angeles, seeks a Tax Director to lead tax planning and compliance for diverse clients. The Tax Director will review complex tax returns, mentor staff, and drive client service, planning, and firm development initiatives, while representing clients before tax authorities

Qualifications

• Seven to ten years of public accounting experience with progression in tax complexity.
• At least two years supervising tax preparers or staff.
• CPA license current and active; AICPA membership in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve tax returns and examinations of any complexity.
• Serve as subject matter expert in tax discipline.
• Lead client meetings and tax planning for larger clients.
• Develop, coach and train staff accountants.
• Ensure accurate billing and collections.
