A regional CPA firm is seeking a Tax Director to lead the tax department and drive client service across diverse industries. The role emphasizes technical tax reviews, staff development, and successful engagement management with large, complex returns and examinations.

Qualificações

• Seven to ten years of experience in public accounting with increasing tax complexity.
• At least two years representing clients before taxing authorities.
• Minimum one year supervising tax preparers.
• CPA license current; member in good standing with the AICPA.

Responsabilidades

• Review and approve tax returns and government tax examinations of any complexity.
• Lead client meetings and tax planning efforts with larger clients.
• Develop staff and provide training; recruit and evaluate staff performance.
• Ensure accurate billing and client service within budgeted time.
