Job summary

Gates Hudson & Associates is seeking a Leasing Consultant - Tax Credit for one of our residential communities. The role focuses on leasing, sales, and customer service, with a strong emphasis on tax credit knowledge. Weekend availability is required to support prospect tours.

The position involves presenting communities, handling leads, processing leasing paperwork, and maintaining strong resident relations to maximize occupancy and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Tax Credit experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to build rapport quickly with prospects and residents.

Responsibilities

• Leasing & Sales: Greet and tour prospective residents, qualify needs, and present the community and available apartments while highlighting features and amenities.
• Customer Service & Resident Relations: Answer inquiries, address questions and service requests, and follow up on maintenance to ensure satisfaction.
• Property Presentation & Operations: Keep leasing office and model units tour-ready, confirm availability, and conduct move-in/move-out inspections.
• Marketing & Community Engagement: Stay informed on local market conditions and assist with planning resident events and marketing improvements.
