Gates Hudson is seeking a Leasing Manager to oversee tax credit community leasing, ensure compliance, and drive occupancy targets in the Arlington area. You will lead the leasing team, manage paperwork, and coordinate with maintenance to keep units move-in ready. Strong bilingual Spanish communication and Yardi experience are required.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, high-quality customer service, and timely reporting across daily, weekly, and monthly leasing activities.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years experience in leasing at tax credit communities.
• 3 years experience supervising or leading a team.
• Experience working with Yardi and Nexus Payables.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bilingual in Spanish is required.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure the completion, reporting, and filing of all paperwork for the community associated with tax credit requirements and tax credits programs.
• Ensure all leasing personnel are trained and able to properly tour prospects, process applications, complete tax credit paperwork and certifications, enter data accurately in property management software and provide high quality customer service to prospects, applicants, residents, vendors and visitors to the community.
• Review all lease-related paperwork (electronic and hardcopy) for errors and verify data in the property management software.
• Keep current on market conditions, monitor rental trends, conduct surveys, adjust leasing strategies to maintain occupancy goals.
• Develop and implement leasing strategies to maximize property occupancy.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure unit-ready timelines align with move-in dates and show-ready units.
• Review service requests daily and communicate delays or repairs to residents; propose solutions to avoid disruption.
• Oversee renewal process, audit rents and charges, and ensure timely renewals.
• Develop unit inspection checklists for move-ins/outs and tour units to ensure turnover efficiency.
