PayPal Inc. seeks an experienced Tax Counsel - Information Reporting to ensure global information reporting compliance across products and processes. You will work with cross-functional partners to assess new products and develop policies, applying prudent judgment to identify risk and defend positions.

The role requires navigating FATCA, CRS, CARF, and 1099 regimes, drafting policies, and guiding product teams. Strong collaboration and regulatory diligence are essential.

Formación

• 5+ years relevant tax experience.
• JD degree or foreign equivalent with admission to practice law.
• Experience with information reporting (IRS, FATCA, CRS, CARF) a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Advise on complex tax issues affecting operations and initiatives.
• Document technical tax analyses for planning, reporting, audit defense, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with business units and Finance to structure initiatives in a tax-efficient and compliant manner.
• Identify tax risk exposures and mitigation strategies aligned with PayPal's risk tolerance.
• Coordinate with outside advisors and manage discrete external engagements.
• Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to knowledge in the tax function.
