Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tax experience and a JD degree (or foreign equivalent).
• Admission to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Advise on complex tax issues affecting operations, transactions and strategic initiatives.
• Develop analyses supporting planning, reporting positions, audit defense and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with business units and Finance leadership to structure initiatives tax-efficiently and compliantly.
• Identify tax risk exposures and recommend mitigation aligned with PayPal's risk tolerance.
• Coordinate with outside advisors and mentor junior attorneys as needed.
