Job summary

Darigold, Inc. is seeking a skilled Tax Accountant to join our team in Seattle. You will support income tax accounting, compliance, gross receipts, sales/use and property tax efforts, while assisting with audits and planning initiatives.

The role offers exposure to multiple tax areas, collaboration with the Tax Department, and opportunities to contribute to policy development and process improvements. A 1–2 year accounting background and Excel proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred.
• CPA designation or progress toward CPA is a plus but not required.
• Excel – intermediate proficiency with pivot tables, lookups, data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Supports tax compliance by monitoring adherence to policies, procedures and reporting requirements.
• Prepares tax reports and documentation for income, gross receipts, property and sales/use tax compliance.
• Reconciles general ledger accounts and prepares accruals to ensure proper tax payments.
• Develops proficiency in internal systems and reporting tools for tax compliance.
• Communicates with tax authorities and external stakeholders.
