Job summary

Darigold is seeking a Tax Accountant to join our team in Seattle. The role supports tax compliance, reporting and planning across income, gross receipts, sales/use and property taxes, and involves preparing filings and collaborating with the Tax Department.

You will gain experience across all tax areas, participate in audits, and contribute to process improvements while enjoying a flexible hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree or equivalent mix of education and experience.
• 1-2 years of accounting experience required.
• Tax experience or exposure to multiple tax areas preferred.
• CPA designation or progress toward CPA is a plus but not required.
• Proficient Excel with pivot tables, lookups and data analysis tools.
• Strong teamwork, communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supports tax compliance activities and reporting requirements.
• Prepares tax reports and supporting documentation for multiple tax areas.
• Evaluates data accuracy and investigates fluctuations in tax data.
• Reconciles general ledger accounts and accruals for tax purposes.
• Communicates with tax authorities and external stakeholders.
• Supports audits and tax planning initiatives.
