Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking motivated TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide on-site tax preparation and advisory services at dedicated TurboTax locations across the United States.

You will engage with clients in person and virtually, delivering accurate tax solutions and guiding customers through complex situations with a personal touch. You will act as a community ambassador, grow the local client base, and collaborate with a team of specialists to offer comprehensive services from bookkeeping

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent) with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, for at least 20 hours/week; hours may scale up during tax season.
• Willing to complete required training and development as determined by the business; training requirements may change.
• Willing to wear Intuit-provided uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert; creating tax content/resources per Intuit policy.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador to grow a local TurboTax client base through outreach and events.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma to address needs.
• Build long-term relationships by delivering a complete financial picture and year-round support.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional demeanor and clear communication.
