Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to work onsite at TurboTax locations across the United States, delivering tax preparation, advice, and software support. You will serve as a trusted advisor, connect clients to bookkeeping, payroll and financial planning services, and expand the local customer base with community outreach.

Ideal candidates have EA/CPA/attorney qualifications, 3+ years of tax return prep, PTIN, and willingness to train on additional Intuit products.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, 20 hours per week
• Willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business
• Willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and be used for advertising
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Assist with deductions optimization and amendments.
• Connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services within the Intuit ecosystem.
• Grow local client base through outreach, partnerships, and community engagement.
• Deliver best-in-class customer experience in person and via video tools.
