Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc is offering a paid 10-week Summer College Internship Program for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns will be mentored and work on meaningful projects in tax, with exposure to federal and state tax processes.

Development workshops will help bridge school to corporate life, and interns may explore a range of tracks in business, analytics, and more. Housing is not provided, and remote work is case-by-case.

Qualifications

• Majors/degree programs include Accounting or similar business programs.
• Ability to complete at least one tax course is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and interest in tax accounting and data analytics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to interact with staff at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Support Corporate Tax Compliance with tax accounting and process improvement activities.
• Work with a mentor on strategic projects and deliver presentations at internship end.
• Assist with miscellaneous tasks across tax and accounting functions.
