Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc is offering a paid 10-week summer internship designed for undergrad and grad students. The Tax Intern role supports the Corporate Tax Compliance team on tax, accounting and process improvements while mentored by experienced professionals.

Interns will gain exposure to federal and state tax processes, complete assignments, and deliver presentations at internship end. Housing is not provided.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting or related program with interest in corporate tax.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, willingness to learn.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to interact with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Corporate Tax Compliance on tax and accounting projects during the internship.
• Work with a mentor on key strategic projects and present final deliverables.
• Perform a mix of technical and non-technical tasks across business projects.
