Job summary

Capital District Physicians' Health Plan Inc is offering a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns will participate in development workshops, work on meaningful projects, and be mentored by managers while exploring tracks across business, IT, actuarial, analytics, and more.

The Tax Intern role supports the Corporate Tax Compliance team with tax and accounting tasks, with exposure to federal and state tax processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting or similar program with at least one tax course (preferred)
• Strong interest in corporate tax and tax accounting, proficiency in Excel, and data analytics to solve business problems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Support corporate tax compliance and tax accounting activities during the internship
• Work with a mentor on key strategic projects
• Complete assignments based on business needs and priorities
• Create and deliver presentations at internship completion
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies
• Possess strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed
