Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Sales Ambassador in San Ramon, CA to engage customers, share product knowledge, and help shoppers discover healthy options in a fast-paced store.

You will sample products, assist with food preparation at tasting stations, support events, and work toward meeting sales goals with friendly, informative service.

Applicants should be 18+ with a high school diploma, strong communication, energy, and a willingness to learn in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent
• High energy with a passion for Sprouts product
• Thrives on customer engagement
• Ability to suggestively sell product
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Ability to stand at the Tasting Station for up to 8 hours
• Experience with customer service, sales, marketing or event planning
• Strong organizational skills
• Results-oriented mindset
• Problem solving skills
• Intermediate level computer skills

Responsibilities

• Proactively engaging customers while sampling products
• Preparing and serving food using an induction cooktop, toaster oven, blender, etc. with specific cooking directions provided
• Cutting and sampling produce and grocery product
• Achieving sales goals by sharing product with customers and encouraging them to try new products
• Coordinating all event activities, including:
• Event setup and takedown
• Communicating upcoming events in department manager meetings
• Managing sample supply and sample product inventory
• Preparing event recaps via SharePoint
• Maintaining program specific equipment
• Adhering to strict food safety guidelines
• Completing assigned online trainings to build your knowledge base
