Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring a Sales Ambassador to engage customers, sample products, and share healthy living ideas in a fast-paced store environment. You will prepare tasty samples, help drive sales goals, coordinate events, and maintain food safety while delivering exceptional customer service every day.

Ideal candidates bring high energy, strong communication, and willingness to learn; previous experience in retail or food service is a plus, and you must be at least 18 with a high school

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• High energy with a passion for Sprouts product.
• Thrives on customer engagement.
• Ability to suggestively sell product.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
• Ability to follow cooking directions.
• Ability to stand at the Tasting Station for up to 8 hours.
• Experience with customer service, sales, marketing or event planning.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with store team members and support office.

• Intermediate level computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engaging customers while sampling products.
• Preparing and serving food using an induction cooktop, toaster oven, blender, etc. with specific cooking directions provided.
• Cutting and sampling produce and grocery product.
• Achieving sales goals by sharing product with customers and encouraging them to try new products.
• Coordinating all event activities, including: Event setup and takedown, Communicating upcoming events in department manager meetings, Managing sample supply and sample product inventory, Preparing event recaps via SharePoint.
• Maintaining program specific equipment.
• Adhering to strict food safety guidelines.
• Completing assigned online trainings to build your knowledge base.
