Cooper’s Hawk is seeking a Tasting Room Attendant who excels in guest service in a wine-forward setting. You will educate guests about wines, the Wine Club, and our monthly offerings while delivering a memorable dining experience.

Role requires a hospitality mindset, ability to work in a fast-paced team, and knowledge of wines and tasting procedures. Hiring is on-site at our Springfield location with flexible shifts and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience in casual or upscale dining or retail sales preferred.
• Experience in a wine environment or equivalent preferred.
• Hospitality-focused with a passion for guest service, food and wine.
• Thrives in a team-based environment.
• Comfort educating guests on the Wine Club and inviting them to join.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with hospitality and answer questions about food, wine, Wine Club, and facilities.
• Maintain knowledge of Cooper’s Hawk food, wines, and Wines of the Month.
• Build relationships with guests to create a memorable experience.
• Educate guests on the Wine Club offerings and rewards; invite them to join to expand membership.
• Know Tasting Room functions and retail products, including tastings and costs.
• Support Host and Service Assistant roles when needed.
• Serve alcoholic beverages per company standards and legal guidelines.
• Assist with transporting Carryout and Curbside orders to guests.
• Seek opportunities to upsell products in the Tasting Room.
• Stock wine and retail merchandise; display per standards.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, organized, stocked work area.
• Complete side work during non-busy hours.
• Handle cash and MICROS per standards.
• Follow SOPs for opening, mid-shift, and closing.
