Job summary

Ballast Point Brewing Company is seeking a part‑time Tasting Room Associate to join our San Diego area hospitality team. You will greet guests, share knowledge about Ballast Point beer and food offerings, and deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced tasting room environment.

Responsibilities include guiding guests through our menu, upholding service standards, and maintaining a clean, safe dining area while working with a supportive team to enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of craft beer and food pairings preferred.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• 21+ years of age and flexible scheduling required.
• RBS and Food Handlers certificates preferred or required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Explain Ballast Point beer and food offerings accurately.
• Follow Steps of Service to ensure quality dining experiences.
• Verify IDs and ensure responsible alcohol service.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the bar, restaurant, and seating areas.
• Operate the Aloha POS for sales of food, beer, and merchandise.
• Collaborate with team to continuously improve guest experience.
