Job summary

Cook County States Attorneys Office CCSAO is seeking a Data Collection Specialist for the Target Abuser Call TAC program. You will ensure data accuracy across CCSAO and University of Chicago teams, coordinating with researchers and service providers.

The role supports the expansion of a two-year grant funded initiative, with duties spanning data entry, quality checks, and process documentation. Full-time, Mon-Fri, 8:30am-4:30pm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong data entry accuracy.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; able to work independently.
• Clear communication and the ability to coordinate with a range of stakeholders.
• Flexibility to adapt to evolving program needs.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Enter, organize and maintain up to date case records across multiple sources.
• Help standardize and document data entry processes.
• Conduct routine data quality checks for completeness and accuracy.
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies or gaps.
• Coordinate between research partners and program staff across teams.
• Follow up with TAC teams to ensure accurate data entry.
• Support data sharing by preparing structured datasets for transfer to research.
