Job summary

Boston Beer Corporation is seeking a Tap Room Coordinator to lead the FOH team and oversee day-to-day Tap Room operations, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction. The role includes supervising floor execution, training staff, and managing cash handling and safety policies.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the Tap Room, coordinating pre-shift meetings, driving sales, and collaborating with Brand, Training, Sales, and other departments for events and programs.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• 2+ years' experience in high volume retail/restaurant operations.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Open to coaching and constructive feedback from peers and leadership.
• Ability to work overtime including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary floor manager for Support, Bartending, and Back of House during daily Tap Room operations.
• Open/close the Tap Room; ensure spaces are guest-ready and operational.
• Serve as on-shift floor supervisor ensuring smooth service flow, timing, and guest engagement; communicate schedule updates and priorities.
• Coordinate and hold daily pre-shift meetings.
• Drive sales and maintain quality standards in the Tap Room, including training and customer service.
• Train FOH coworkers and oversee daily operations; maintain cleanliness and safe serving policies.
• Enforce safety protocols and support required safety training.
