Job summary

Boston Beer Corporation, maker of Samuel Adams, is seeking a Head Chef for the Downtown Taproom in Boston, MA. You will lead a high-volume kitchen, ensure exceptional food quality, and drive operational excellence across taproom and concession environments.

You will build and coach a culinary team, manage labor and costs, uphold safety and sanitation standards, and partner with leadership to design concepts and events that showcase the Boston Beer experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of culinary/chef experience leading high-volume, dynamic kitchens.
• Concessions-type food service environments experience.
• High energy and hands-on; comfortable on the line 20-40% of the time.
• Able to navigate complex business environments and build cross-functional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Create and oversee menu planning and culinary execution.
• Foster relationships within kitchen, Front of House, Brewing, and Tour Center Teams.
• Participate in hiring leads, line cooks, and back-of-house staff.
• Develop and maintain culinary training programs.
• Collaborate with GM on kitchen design concepts and facilities maintenance.
• Oversee special events including beer dinners, weddings, and corporate outings.
