Job summary

Vishay Barry in Attleboro, MA is seeking a production associate to set up and operate a manual tape and reel machine, inspect components, and perform related tasks on two shifts.

The role requires basic manufacturing experience, strong hand‑eye coordination, and precision in handling tiny parts. Salary is $18–$22 hourly with a 10% second‑shift differential and on‑site work only.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of production or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to inspect parts as small as 1/32” under magnification.
• Excellent eye‑hand coordination and manual dexterity.
• Strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Fast learner and self‑motivated.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Strong sense of personal ownership and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Handle small electrical components and perform visual inspections using a microscope and tweezers.
• Conduct electrical tests, packaging, and other miscellaneous functions as required.
• Record work performed using computer systems.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned work area.
• Pay rate will be $18‑$22 hourly, with an additional 10% differential for second shift operators.

Job Location

Vishay Barry is located in Attleboro, MA, a convenient location near major highways. The facility covers 40,000 sq. ft. and employs 70 people across two shifts. This is an on‑site position.

Schedule

• 1st shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2nd shift: 3:45 PM – 12:15 AM (10% differential)

What You Will Be Doing
