Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. in Niagara Falls, NY is seeking a Manufacturing Operator for the Tape & Reel 3rd shift. You will set up, run, and monitor tape & reel machines, ensure quality, and keep accurate paperwork.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong reading/writing, arithmetic, organizational skills, and the ability to follow directions. Pay is $17–$19 per hour with benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust equipment as necessary.
• Report downtime to Supervisor/Technician.
• Prepare paperwork and labels for reels.
• Organize work by due dates and ensure progress.
• Monitor output and quality of parts in the department.

Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Thin Film is currently seeking applicants for a 3rd Shift Tape & Reel Operator.

Job Location:

Vishay Thin Film is located in Niagara Falls, NY. The site has a lot of natural beauty to offer including the world-famous Niagara Falls which are just a short drive away!

What you will be doing:

• Set up and run multiple automatic and manual tape & reel machines per the instructions on the traveler
• Monitor and adjust automatic and manual tape & reel and peripheral equipment as necessary
• Report equipment down time to Supervisor/Technician
• Prepare proper paperwork and labels for the reels
• Organize work in order of due dates and ensure they progress on schedule
• Monitor the output and quality of parts assigned within the department

What you will bring along:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and write to interpret production documents and accurately record required information.
• Ability to perform arithmetic calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using a learned method or a calculator.
• Eye-hand coordination and good manual dexterity to accurately process small parts manufactured.
• Organizational skills to maintain a clean workstation.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instruction to take work direction accurately.
• Qualified to perform multiple jobs and has the responsibility of training other employees.

Pay Range:

$17-19 per hour
