Job summary

SPN Solutions Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking a Transition Assistance Program and IT Support Specialist to keep the MacDill AFB center running smoothly. You will set up rooms, manage laptops, enter rosters and maintain class and program data, ensuring timely reporting to Air Force systems.

The role is full-time, on-site at MacDill, with standard business hours, no nights or weekends. Ideal candidate has 3+ years in admin support and hands-on IT support, strong Microsoft 365 skills, and comfort

Qualifications

• Three+ years experience in admin support, data entry and IT support.
• Strong Microsoft 365 skills to teach others.
• Troubleshoot Windows, printers, network access and settings.
• Setup and run Microsoft Teams for training and meetings.
• Manage a commercial Wi-Fi network and firmware updates.
• Maintain records with personal information accurately.
• Provide professional customer service to military members and families.
• Familiarity with military structure and command chain.
• U.S. citizenship and able to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Support TAP classes: check-in, room setup, rosters, and AV for virtual delivery.
• Enter and update data in Air Force tracking system, Teams and SharePoint.
• Schedule classes, manage program status, and update records.
• Keep laptops, wifi, printers, and AV equipment working.
• Run Center's Wi-Fi accounts, access points, and firmware updates.
• Troubleshoot and fix hardware, toner, and AV issues.
• Assist staff with Teams, drives, and permissions; raise tickets as needed.
• Handle IT support tickets and document actions taken.
• Answer phones, draft correspondence, train staff on equipment.
