Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a part-time TAP program facilitator to assist in preparing military personnel transitioning to civilian careers. The role supports job placement, education gaps, and credentialing through in-person or virtual classes at designated hubs with satellite locations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or an associate’s degree, plus 3 years of training or classroom instruction experience. Travel up to 10% and strong communication with military clients are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as a professional trainer, facilitator, or classroom instructor.
• Knowledge of private and public sector employment processes.
• Ability to train groups up to 50 participants and work with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Teach and instruct transitioning military personnel to civilian occupations.
• Identify goals and gap areas in employment or education for participants.
• Explain job search processes, networking, and credentialing to clients.
• Deliver curriculum in-person or virtually and manage travel/expense reporting.
• Complete administrative tasks including travel reimbursements and classroom reports.
