Job summary

Centerline Logistics, a leading marine transportation provider, seeks an experienced Tank Barge PIC to ensure safe transfer of petroleum products between barges, ships, and facilities. You will complete bills of lading, gauge reports, and perform vessel inspections per Coast Guard regulations.

Responsibilities include operating diesel engines and cargo pumps, monitoring tank levels, coordinating with crews, and maintaining accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a tank barge PIC on oil barges required.
• A valid Coast Guard Merchant Mariners Document with PIC endorsement.
• A valid first aid/CPR certificate.
• Valid TWIC.
• HAZWOPER training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product levels and operate diesel engines, pumps, and valves.
• Communicate with foreign crews and oil facility personnel.
• Complete loading and discharge gauge reports and inspect vessel for regulatory compliance.
• Maintain safety equipment and perform routine barge maintenance.
