Job summary

Centerline Logistics in Alameda, California, seeks a qualified Tank Barge Operator to ensure the safe and efficient transfer of petroleum products. Responsibilities include monitoring tanks, operating equipment, and complying with safety regulations. Candidates must have significant experience and proper certifications including USCG MMC and Tankerman PIC endorsement. Qualifications

• Previous experience as a tank barge PIC on oil barges required.
• Must have a valid PIC Endorsement and USCG MMC.
• At least 5 years of tanking experience.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Knowledge of Coast Guard and state transfer operations requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product levels in tanks and operate diesel engines.
• Load 55 gallon drums and adjust barge lines.
• Complete loading and discharge gauge reports.
• Inspect vessel for compliance with regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
