Centerline Logistics is seeking qualified mariners for oil transportation roles on tug-barge operations across U.S. waters. The job requires tankerman PIC credentials, STCW endorsements, and prior experience on oil barges.

You will manage load plans, monitor tanks, operate cargo gear, and ensure regulatory compliance while communicating with crews and facility personnel. Applicants should have a valid USCG credential, TWIC, passport, and First Aid/CPR.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess a valid USCG Merchant Mariners Document with Tankerman PIC endorsement.
• STCW endorsements for RFPNW, Basic Training, and Vessel Security.
• Previous tank barge PIC experience on oil barges is required.
• Driver's license, TWIC Card, and Passport are required.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Valid 24 hr HAZWOPER.
• Basic computer knowledge and skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).

Responsabilidades

• Create load/discharge plans for trim, stability, and safe cargo operations.
• Monitor tanks during topping off, stripping, and sampling.
• Operate mooring winches, diesel engines, cargo pumps, valves, heaters, IG Systems, booms, and gas meters.
• Use tapes for gauging and record-keeping.
• Hydrostatic testing of cargo hoses and piping.
• Understand piping diagrams and valve alignment for cargo segregation.
• Fill out Bills of Lading, Barge Logs, DOIs, BDNs and related paperwork.
• Perform routine maintenance aboard tug and barge.
• Inspect vessel for Coast Guard and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with annual USCG/ABS inspections.
• Communicate effectively with foreign crews and oil facility staff.
• Respond quickly in emergencies and operate safety equipment.
• Occasionally use respirators and SCBA for hazardous cargos.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and handle cargo hoses and fenders.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
