Job summary

Par Pacific in Newcastle, Wyoming seeks an Operator-E to monitor and perform tank transfers and oversee loading racks at the refinery. You will work a 4 on/4 off, 12-hour shift schedule, collaborating with a team to keep operations safe and efficient.

Requires US work authorization, HS diploma, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities include operating pumps and valves, taking measurements, maintaining logs, and coordinating with the control room.

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; college coursework or degree preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Experience with loading/unloading large trucks and refinery tank transfers is preferred.
• Fluency in English required; strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute tank transfers of product between tanks and process units.
• Monitor pumps, valves, and field equipment to move products safely.
• Perform gauge readings, record levels, temperatures and pressures.
• Complete logs and documentation per procedures and regulations.
• Coordinate with control room and other operators during product movements.
