Job summary

PSC Group is seeking a Dock Operator to support safe transfer of oil products and chemicals to and from barges or ships in a full-time outdoor role. You will work on 12-hour rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays, while maintaining detailed logs and operating diverse equipment.

Qualifications include fluent English, ability to pass background checks and medical screens, a valid driver’s license and possibly a TWIC card, and a readiness to comply with PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required for speaking, reading, and writing.
• Punctuality and dependable on-site attendance.
• Willingness to perform outdoor dock duties and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Meet with vessel PIC and communicate with facility personnel.
• Maintain dock logs documenting events in chronological order.
• Operate crane, hydraulic, electrical, mechanical equipment, and valves.
• Understand piping layout to transfer correct product.
• Gauge barge and take product samples from vessel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
