Job summary

Par Pacific is hiring an Operator-E in Newcastle, Wyoming. You will oversee tank transfers, monitor pumps and loading racks, and report incidents to maintain safety and efficiency on a 4 on/4 off 12-hour shift schedule.

You’ll work with field equipment, perform gauge readings, collect samples, and coordinate with control room to move products. Candidates must have a HS diploma or equivalent; legal US work authorization; able to lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors in varying weather, and hold a

Qualifications

Must be 18+ with HS diploma or equivalent; college coursework or degree is a plus.
Experience with loading/unloading large trucks and loading racks preferred.
Tank transfers and loading rack operation experience preferred in refinery env.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather; lift up to 50 lbs; physically capable.
Strong math skills and ability to work with percentages and decimals.
Fluent English, both written and spoken; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

Monitor and operate pumps, valves, and field equipment to move crude oil and products.
Record gauges: product levels, temperatures, and pressures accurately.
Inspect tanks, pumps, and equipment for leaks or unsafe conditions.
Collect product samples for laboratory analysis as needed.
Coordinate product movements with control room and other operators.
Assist with routine maintenance and safety/compliance tasks; support during turnarounds.
Complete logs/reports in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
