Job summary

Par Pacific is hiring an Operator-E in Newcastle, Wyoming. You will oversee tank transfers, monitor pumps and loading racks, and report incidents to maintain safety and efficiency on a 4 on/4 off 12-hour shift schedule.

You’ll work with field equipment, perform gauge readings, collect samples, and coordinate with control room to move products. Candidates must have a HS diploma or equivalent; legal US work authorization; able to lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors in varying weather, and hold a

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with HS diploma or equivalent; college coursework or degree is a plus.
• Experience with loading/unloading large trucks and loading racks preferred.
• Tank transfers and loading rack operation experience preferred in refinery env.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather; lift up to 50 lbs; physically capable.
• Strong math skills and ability to work with percentages and decimals.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate pumps, valves, and field equipment to move crude oil and products.
• Record gauges: product levels, temperatures, and pressures accurately.
• Inspect tanks, pumps, and equipment for leaks or unsafe conditions.
• Collect product samples for laboratory analysis as needed.
• Coordinate product movements with control room and other operators.
• Assist with routine maintenance and safety/compliance tasks; support during turnarounds.
• Complete logs/reports in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
