Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking skilled technicians to service ISO Tank Containers, focusing on pressure testing, draining, and drying tanks, and replacing valves and gauges. The role requires comfortable handling at heights and in enclosed spaces, with use of hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a mechanical background and be comfortable with manual and precision tooling.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Detail orientation is essential for inspecting parts and procedures.
• Must be able to wear a respirator and work at heights on top of tanks.
• Able to work in enclosed spaces inside tanks and operate power tools.

Responsibilities

• Pressure test, repair, and replace valves, gaskets, and gauges.
• Drain tank and ensure it is dry before inspection.
• Operate hoists, cranes, and precision testing instruments.
• Observe mechanical devices to diagnose issues.
• Repair and replace defective parts and adjust used parts.
• Lubricate and clean components as needed.
• Operate lathe, drill press and grinders.
• Use hand and power tools to complete tasks.

Role overview:

Working on ISO Tank Containers by pressure testing tanks, drain and dry out the inside of the tank. Repair and replace tank container valves, gaskets and gauges.

Position Responsibilities:

• Pressure test, repair and replace valves, gaskets and gauges
• Drain tank and insuring tank is dry.
• Operate hoists, cranes, and precision measuring and testing instruments
• Observe and listen to mechanical devices to diagnose causes of mechanical issues
• Repair and replace defective parts, inspect and adjust used parts
• Lubricate and clean parts
• Operate lathe, drill press and grinders
• Use hand tools and power tools

Qualifications:

• Candidates will possess a mechanical background
• Possess good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Detailed oriented
• Ability to wear a respirator, be comfortable with both heights on top of tanks
• Work in enclosed spaces inside of tanks
