Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a skilled Tank Container Maintenance Technician to perform pressure testing, repairs, and valve work on ISO Tank Containers. You will work with crew to keep tanks safe and compliant, handling gaskets, gauges, and related components.

Responsibilities include draining tanks, ensuring dryness, operating hoists and precision instruments, and inspecting parts for wear.

Role overview:

Working on ISO Tank Containers by pressure testing tanks, drain and dry out the inside of the tank. Repair and replace tank container valves, gaskets and gauges.

Position Responsibilities:

• Pressure test, repair and replace valves, gaskets and gauges
• Drain tank and insuring tank is dry.
• Operate hoists, cranes, and precision measuring and testing instruments
• Observe and listen to mechanical devices to diagnose causes of mechanical issues
• Repair and replace defective parts, inspect and adjust used parts
• Lubricate and clean parts
• Operate lathe, drill press and grinders
• Use hand tools and power tools

Qualifications:

• Candidates will possess a mechanical background
• Possess good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Detailed oriented
• Ability to wear a respirator, be comfortable with both heights on top of tanks
• Work in enclosed spaces inside of tanks
