Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months industrial construction experience.
• Ability to read and follow sequences of activities without direction.
• Understand proper use of tank-building tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Rig, lift, and fit-up standard steel storage tanks and vessels with minimal direction from supervision.
• Inspect rigging equipment, removing damaged equipment from service prior to use.
• Erection of tank external structural steel, platforms, and associated components.
• Fabrication and installation of internal tank piping, instruments, and all associated components.
• Operate construction equipment as required; including lifting, material handling and personnel access equipment.
• Utilize tools properly with no unauthorized modifications.
• Ensure proper tools, equipment, and materials are available at work locations to ensure efficient start and completion of a task.
• Recognize hazards and take action to mitigate them.
• Maintain good housekeeping.
