Job summary

Bechtel Corporation seeks an experienced field supervisor on the Louisiana LNG project in Lake Charles to coordinate subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and engineering activities. You will guide field staff to ensure work aligns with schedules and safety requirements on a complex, multi-stakeholder facility.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and extensive construction experience, with the ability to interface across disciplines, manage constructability issues, and mentor junior team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of construction methods for LNG tank construction including carbon steel, aluminum, 9% Ni plate erection and welding.
• Familiarity with API-650, API-620, API-625, ASME VIII, AWWA, and FERC requirements; strong interfacing with design and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and organizes subcontractor activities through coordination and instruction of subcontractor management staff.
• Role supports mid-size projects of medium to high complexity with multiple stakeholders.
• Monitors subcontractor construction schedules, resources, and material/equipment requirements.
• Coordinates with design on constructability issues and ensures alignment with established schedules.
