Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) in Braddock, PA is hiring a full-time Foreman/Tank Builder to lead field crews on tank construction projects nationwide.

You will supervise on-site operations, coordinate with customers, vendors and subcontractors, manage safety, quality and productivity, and ensure work is completed on time and within contract scope. Welding/structural experience is a plus. Benefits include competitive pay, health/dental/vision, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• Prioritize safety, quality, and productivity on-site.
• Strong communication and organization skills required.
• Welding experience is a plus and may be required for some projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide site supervision and lead field teams on PTS construction projects.
• Act as point of contact with customers, vendors and subcontractors on site.
• Maintain Safety, Quality and Productivity standards on the jobsite.
• Understand contract scope and identify field-initiated scope changes (change orders).
• Provide leadership regarding Safety and a culture of safety on the jobsite.
• Provide leadership regarding Quality and minimize rework.
• Improve field productivity and ensure projects remain under budget and on time.
• Balance customer satisfaction with project profitability and manage scope changes.
• Represent PTS professionally to customers and employees and assist pre-construction planning.
