The Railcar Repair Technician conducts inspections and repairs on tank cars, supports customers, and maintains required certifications while following AAR rules. Starting pay is $24.53 per hour with Day 1 benefits and a strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to use hand tools and perform basic railcar repairs and inspections.
• Strong customer relations and teamwork skills; follow safety procedures.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions and pass screenings.

Responsibilities

• Railcar repair and maintenance on tank cars using current procedures.
• Provide customer support to meet expectations and ensure satisfaction.
• Handle invoicing, inspections, and work order information accurately.
• Maintain certifications and adhere to AAR rules and regulations.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.
