Job summary

Atkore International is seeking a Project Manager for Unistrut Construction in the Southeast region, based in the Tampa office. You will oversee multiple projects for general contractors, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and scope control while coordinating with customers and internal teams.

The role requires 2+ years in construction/project management, blueprint literacy, and strong communication. Travel is about 25%, with a focus on safety and profitability across the region.

Qualifications

• Associates or Technical Degree/Certificate in construction-related field preferred or years of relevant experience
• 2+ years' experience in construction/project management
• Ability to read and understand blueprints/construction documents
• Ability to manage multiple crews/projects
• Strong organizational/prioritization skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication with all levels of the organization
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Procore
• Demonstrate Atkore Core Values: Accountability, Teamwork, Integrity, Respect, Excellence
• Travel requirements: 25%

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope and meet contract estimates and margins
• Manage vendor relationships and ordering materials within budget and schedule
• Align team priorities with organizational initiatives
• Monitor and forecast project costs weekly/monthly and report accurately
• Create and monitor Schedule of Values; ensure final invoicing and closure
• Collaborate with team members to deliver profitable project outcomes
• Deliver project updates and presentations as needed
• Adhere to Atkore Safety policies by all project members
• Develop relationships with stakeholders and project teams
