Job summary

Northwestern Mutual – Dorner District is seeking a Recruiting & Development Coordinator to help attract top talent, create engaging content, and support onboarding training initiatives. No prior recruiting experience is required; we value organization, coachability, creativity, and a willingness to learn.

As part of the Talent Acquisition team, you will partner with recruiters to develop sourcing strategies, build a diverse candidate pipeline, and manage candidate communications.

Qualifications

• Must reside in Champaign and commute to downtown Champaign.
• Demonstrated organizational skills, professional communication, multitasking abilities, and time management.
• Coachable and able to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
• Preferred: Social media awareness across multiple platforms.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify top-tier candidates across channels.
• Create multimedia content and implement social media strategies.
• Leverage data and market trends to inform recruitment strategies.
• Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for current and future needs.
• Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate communication, and feedback collection.
• Assist Director of New Rep Development with onboarding and training tracking.
