Job summary

Northwestern Mutual is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to work at our Madison Avenue office. The role partners with the Director of Recruiting to drive recruitment results and gain exposure to sourcing, selection, onboarding, and development processes.

You will support the recruiting team, manage the selection process, oversee social media of Talent Acquisition, greet candidates, coordinate interviews and office tours, track metrics, maintain NMTalent database, and assist onboarding.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in recruiting or business-related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficient with sourcing platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake).
• Strong networking within campus communities.
• High initiative and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
• Comfortable in fast-paced environments.
• Flexible and open-minded; eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support the Madison Avenue Recruiting Team and Director of Talent Acquisition.
• Manage the full-time selection process for the Director of Talent Acquisition.
• Oversee the Talent Acquisition social media presence.
• Learn the Financial Advisor career to articulate value to candidates and COIs.
• Send communications to Financial Advisor candidates welcoming them to the firm.
• Greet candidates, give office tours, and coordinate arrivals.
• Track recruitment, onboarding, and development activity; prepare reports.
