Job summary

ABEC is seeking a Recruiter to join our team and help connect talented people with manufacturing opportunities. You’ll manage full-cycle hiring, partner with leaders, and create a positive candidate experience from first conversation through onboarding.

You’ll source talent via job boards, social media, networking, referrals, events, and community outreach, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and build a strong pipeline for manufacturing and skilled labor roles.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting or HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with sourcing tools and ATS systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and HR to understand staffing needs.
• Source talent through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, community outreach, and events.
• Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and maintain a strong pipeline for manufacturing and skilled labor roles.
• Build relationships with candidates while providing timely, professional communication.
• Represent our company at career fairs, workforce events, and community programs.
• Track recruiting metrics and continuously improve processes to enhance the candidate experience.
• Support a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
• Ensure recruiting practices align with company policies and EEO standards.
• Occasionally travel for recruiting events, including some weekend opportunities.
