Job summary

Bain & Company is seeking a Manager, Recruiting Programs & Internships in New York to lead internship and early-identification recruiting programs. You will partner with stakeholders across the firm to deliver world-class experiences and build Bain's talent pipeline.

This hybrid role requires strategic thinking, strong execution, and mentorship of teammates. Expect collaboration across programs, travel as needed, and a focus on continuous improvement in candidate experiences.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of campus recruiting experience.
  • Direct reports management experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing technology, talent strategy, and market trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders across multiple levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience developing presentations and executive-ready materials.
  • Ability to manage highly confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Ability to represent Bain externally with candidates and university partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution for a portfolio of internship and early-identification recruiting programs.
  • Translate high-level objectives into actionable project plans while proactively identifying and managing risks, dependencies, and changing business priorities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and office partners, building trusted relationships and driving alignment across teams.
  • Lead stakeholder meetings, develop recommendations, and communicate program updates through clear, audience-focused presentations and written communications.
  • Analyze program performance and identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and candidate experience.
  • Leverage AI and other technologies to automate workflows, improve productivity, and enhance program delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement by incorporating best practices and introducing innovative approaches to recruiting programs.
  • Coach and support junior team members, providing guidance, feedback, and development opportunities while fostering an inclusive and collaborative team culture.
  • Contribute to broader recruiting initiatives and firm activities as business needs require.
